Comedian Katt Williams in jail for burglary, trespassing

Atlanta comedian Katt Williams was in jail Monday morning after being arrested and charged with burglary and criminal trespassing, a deputy at the Coweta County jail said.

Williams, whose real name is Micah Williams, was arrested early Monday, the deputy said.

Williams was arrested by Coweta County deputies. No other details were immediately available.

Williams has hosted the BET awards and appeared in the comedy “First Sunday” and in the Eddie Murphy film “Norbitt.”  He also had an HBO special, Katt Williams: Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1,” which was shot in Atlanta.
