Woman sues Google for bad directions

A California woman is suing Google for $100,000 after she was hit by a car, while using a Google map. She began her route on Daley Avenue. She typed where she wanted to go into her blackberry, but only got one-half mile down the road before she was hit by a car.

Rosenberg was struck by the vehicle on Deer Valley Drive, a heavily traveled road, but what people can’t believe is that she was hit just feet away from an embankment over-looking a nearby walking path.

Joan Rosen says, “You are responsible for your own self when you are walking across the street. Forget about Google and anybody else.”
