Nicki Minaj is considering breaking her year-long celibacy vow to get it on with “Dope” rapper Nas.
The Super Bass hitmaker and the hip-hop veteran have been romantically linked for weeks and now Nicki has opened up about her relationship with the I Can rapper during a taped appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in America.
Gushing about her rumored new man, Minaj said, “He’s so dope. He’s a king, he’s such a king… We’re both from Queens (New York). And he is the King of Queens, and I’d like to think I’m the Queen of Queens…”
But she insisted she still isn’t ready to commit to a new romance after swearing off men for 12 months following her split from Meek Mill at the end of last year.
“I’m just chillin’ right now,” she told Ellen in the U.S. TV chat, which aired on Tuesday. “I’m celibate. I wanted to go a year without dating any man. I hate men… I might make an exception to the rule for him (Nas) ’cause he’s so dope.”
Minaj and Nas first sparked dating rumors earlier this month, when she shared a photo of the new couple cozying up at his Los Angeles restaurant Sweet Chick, and she told DeGeneres she is enjoying date nights with singer Kelis’ ex-husband.
“We have (had sleepovers),” she laughed. “I go to him. I just thought him coming to me was too forward.”
