HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary through a hilarious photo.
The modern-day star of romantic comedies Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley filled their day with fun and love as they celebrated a decade of marriage. They recreated their iconic bathtub photo from when they first met which was about 12 years ago. Heigl made their celebration public by posting two of these pictures side by side on her Instagram.
The first Katherine Heigl and husband photo is where she can be seen lounging in the bathtub, raising a glass of wine with a cigarette on the other hand. Her actor and singer–songwriter husband,on the other hand, sits on the floor, wearing a headband, shirtless, and holding a drink. On the second photo, while they tried to retake the old one, there are some significant changes. That is even aside from the difference in the interior.
Ten years of marriage can surely change a lot of things,and that was something Heigl, 39, also took to Instagram. She captioned the photos by saying that they made the totally random first picture when she and Josh had dated for a few months. 12 years after that, they took another photo to commemorate and celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary.
She also continued her caption by saying that there have been a lot of changes since they took their first photo together and enumerated some. She stated that she had quit smoking which Heigl was grateful for. It is apparent when you look at the two photos. Another difference between the two pictures is how the actress gained some weight which she also pointed out. Heigl doesn’t seem to be bothered by this, and her being one of the best-looking stars in the industry, there’s no reason for her to feel anything negative about it.
She also pointed out that one of the most significant changes is that she doesn’t do weird and spontaneous things anymore like taking a random bathtub picture in the middle of the night.
The star also said that there are things in the photos that haven’t changed over the years, and that includes her burning desire to be with her man. But she also stated that within a long marriage, there are some trying times. Heigl said that she had moments when she just wanted to smother her husband with a pillow in the middle of the night. However, she added that spending a lot of times with her husband, she began to understand that he is the best for her.
Katherine Heigl and husband Kelley have been through ups and downs as a couple like many others,and the actress wasn’t ashamed to say that. Heigl continued on her post saying that when her world fell and when nothing made sense anymore, her husband became her safe harbor and shelter. She also boasted about Kelley’s compassionate and giant heart, especially in being a husband to her. The actress took to her post how she is in awe of her husband’s positivity and passion, drive,and talent, as well as his sense of humor.
