Coldplay has unveiled the music video for their latest single ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’ after their headline performance at Glastonbury 2024. The track was released last week as a sneak peek of their upcoming studio album ‘Moon Music’.
Directed by Ben Mor, known for his work on the band’s collaboration with Beyoncé on ‘Hymn For The Weekend’, the black and white video features actress Natasha Ofili performing her own American Sign Language interpretation of the song. Additionally, members of the Venezuelan Sign Language (LSV) section from El Sistema Venezuela’s Coro de Manos Blancas (White Hands Choir) are showcased in the video.
Towards the end of the video, Coldplay can be seen performing the song at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, Greece in front of an audience who were invited through the band’s social media channels.
The band’s 10th studio album, ‘Moon Music’, is scheduled for release on October 4, and fans can pre-order the LP on their official website. However, there is speculation about whether this album will be Coldplay’s last, as the band has hinted at their intention to stop releasing albums by 2025.
Frontman Chris Martin has previously expressed the intensity of constantly creating new material, leading to the band’s decision to limit themselves to 12 albums. Despite this, the release of ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’ and their acclaimed performance at Glastonbury 2024 show no signs of slowing down.
The band’s set at Glastonbury received a glowing four-star review from NME, with Martin expressing admiration for the festival’s diverse audience. The performance featured surprise guests like Michael J. Fox, offering a memorable experience for fans in attendance.
On social media, viewers also commented on Martin’s apparent accent change during the performance, adding another layer of intrigue to Coldplay’s headline show at Glastonbury.
As Coldplay continues to captivate audiences with their music and live performances, the future remains uncertain but filled with anticipation for what’s to come from the iconic British band.
