TCL 6 Series Roku TV Review
TCL TV’s gained huge popularity in the few recent years. The brand is giving a very tough competition to some of the most reputed brands like Sony, Samsung, and even Apple. TCL provides best features under a very reasonable price. Their televisions are loaded with a bulk of features; it gives excellent color reproduction and great picture clarity all a much lower price in comparison to other brands.
A few months back TCL launched 6 series Roku TV which is a great hit. TCL 6 Series Roku TV is among the most affordable and the best television under $1000 price tag. The TV gives accurate color, deep black levels, great contrast, and excellent image quality. The Roku smart TV platform is a simple interface which is very easy to use and is compatible with a wide range of applications.
Display
TCL 6 Series Roku TV comes in two different sizes 55 inches and 65 inches. TCL has a great deep black display for excellent color clarity. The display delivers excellent image quality. The TV can easily handle both Dolby Vision and HDR10 high dynamic range. You can enjoy great picture clarity and high definition crystal clear video. Of course, it doesn’t have the best picture clarity like LG C8 OLED TV however you need to play almost thrice the price of TCl 6 if you go for it. It performs more than enough even in bright rooms and with motions and will definitely not disappoint you.
Metal body
Goodbye to all the cheap looking black plastic body. TCL 6 TV is made from black metal which gives it a very premium looks. The display is enclosed by a very thin black metal frame. The metal is neither very shiny nor too dull, and it matches perfectly with the ink black screen of the TV.
Amazing Roku platform
The TCL 6 works on the latest Roku platform. The interface is very simple and responds very well. The software is updated frequently, and new features are added with every update. It can be fully customized by the user including input naming.
Roku supports more number of apps including HDR and 4k app than most of the other TV systems. It can even pause live TV direct from the antenna source.
Smart remote
The remote comes with the TCL 6 series TV which has many smart features. It lacks the headphone jack and remote finder which were present in the previous P series remote which is now replaced by a microphone.
The mic on the remote can be used to give commands to the television. It works as good as the popular Amazon Alexa. You don’t need a line of sight while communicating with the TV using it.
You can use it for app launching. Just say open followed by the application’s name and it will open it.

Overall TCL 6 Series is a great choice if you are planning to buy a smart TV under $1000. The 55-inch screen TCL will cost you just $600. You can even go for the huge giant 65 inches screen which will cost you $999.
