Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Moved to Brookings South Dakota where I studied Electrical Engineering at SDSU. Upon Graduation, I moved to Los Angeles, CA where I currently reside.
Do you have a crush on a celebrity or public figure, if so who? Why?
I have many celebrity friends and see many A-listers out and about here in LA but no one makes my heart flutter like my Fiancé does.
What do you do for a living?
I’m working as an actress.
Do you have pets?
I have 2 kitties named Lucy and Vivian!
What do you do for fun?
I’m a private pilot and I love taking the plane up when time permits. I’m a PADI scuba diver and love exploring the oceans and admiring the marine life. I’m also a bit of an adrenaline junkie and enjoy action sports. I have fun doing anything outdoors.
What’s some of the wildest stuff you’ve done?
I’ve done a lot of crazy things, too many to count but I’d have to say that cave diving is pretty up there due to the dangerous nature of the sport.
Name a few things you’d want to do before you die
– Visit all of the 195 countries in the world.
– Cage SCUBA dive with the Great Whites in South Africa
– Be a passenger in a fighter plane during aerobatics training producing high enough g’s to require an anti-g suit. I’ve pulled close to 6 g’s before but had to back off the controls when tunnel vision started in. Being able to go at it again with the suit? Now that would kick ass!
What is the one thing your proudest of?
The degrees and certifications I’ve earned – Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, SCUBA certificate, and my license to fly!
How do you stay inspired?
Whenever you need to summon your inner-strength, it helps if you have little one-liner reminders that keep you going. One of my favorites is by Winston Churchhill, “If you’re going through hell, keep going.”
Tell us about your ideal guy.
Strong, funny, intelligent and confident but not overly cocky. Small minded people or those who lack intelligence is the biggest turn-off. You could be the most gorgeous person in the world but if you don’t have anything interesting to say, things get dull and boring so fast. A sense of humor is an absolute MUST. My grandmother always said laughing was the key to staying young. Strength is a must because let’s just face it, no female wants to feel like she could kick her man’s ass. Us women need to feel safe, secure and protected.
Would you say there is something different or hard to come by in you?
I believe we are all a little rare or different. What’s normal? Lol
How do you strive to live the best life you possibly can?
I always strive to wake up a better person than I was the day before. We can’t compare ourselves to others. Someone will always be faster, stronger, smarter. You are your own competition. As long as you always stay focused and are working, I’d say that’s the best life!
What would you say is your best feature?
I get many compliments on my eyes and people often ask if I wear color contact lenses.
