Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion Share Video for New Song “WAP”

This week, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion team up for WAP. Which flips Frank Ski’s Baltimore club staple “Whores In This House”. Directed by Colin Tilley, the stars are seen singing and dancing around a mansion with eye-popping rooms, from a room where they’re covered in snakes to an all-leopard print room with matching outfits to both displaying themselves doing splits.

Before the video dropped, Megan and Cardi hosted a joint, virtual pregame on Youtube. Where both seemed to be truly excited for the release of the video. And even took a shot together. Fans are honestly happy and “WAP” is what women supporting women look like in action.

The often hilarious rapper had to warn fans in advance, though, that the lyrics to “WAP” are so raunchy that YouTube asked her team to used a censored version of the song for the visual.

She stated the “wet and gushy” censored version of the song. “The song was so nasty that YouTube was like ‘hold on, wait a minute, that song might be too goddamn nasty,’’.

Seven hours after the video’s premiere, it had already gained over 5.5 million views.

“WAP” marks Cardi B’s first new song in nine months and the first new music from Megan Thee Stallion since she was shot in July.

The music video featured a whole host of cameos from other artists like Normani, Mulatto, and Sukihana. Kylie Jenner appears at about the 1:40 mark and her cameo lasts less than 30 seconds.
