Jennifer Lopez recently gave a glimpse of her red Magda Butrym gown, worn for her yearly holiday celebration, through her Instagram account.
During the festive event on Saturday night, Lopez, 54, alongside her husband Ben Affleck, hosted a notable Christmas party at their Los Angeles residence. Celebrities like Margot Robbie, Michael B. Jordan, Jennifer Lewis, and Lily Rabe were among the attendees.
Lopez’s Instagram post on Tuesday displayed three images showcasing her Christmas-themed attire. The “Hustlers” actress was seen in a Magda Butrym red dress, confirmed by a source to PEOPLE as her outfit for the holiday party. One picture captured Lopez applying lipgloss, highlighting the gown’s long sleeves, tight fit, floor length, and rose appliques on the right shoulder.
In another Instagram post, Lopez is seen closely examining her reflection, displaying her makeup comprising dark bronzed smokey eyes, bright peach blush, and nude metallic lipgloss, with her hair styled in a classic Hollywood glamour blowout.
The final photo features Lopez observing her completed look, placing her lipgloss back on her vanity, with her hairstylist Lorenzo Martin in the background. Later in the evening, the “Marry Me” actress changed into a blue-green sequined dress.
Lopez, visible in a video, sang alongside guest Jennifer Lewis, 66, performing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” behind a grand piano for the guests.
A source described the party to PEOPLE as “really fun,” noting that Lopez led Christmas carol singing into the late hours. While Lopez and Affleck mingled with guests separately, they were both reportedly in high spirits.
The house was festively decorated, featuring a large Christmas tree at the entrance. The source noted that the children, including Lopez’s twins Maximilian “Max” David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz, 15, and Affleck’s daughter with Jennifer Garner, Violet Anne, 18, were particularly enjoying themselves.
Garner, 51, and Affleck, 51, also have two other children, Seraphina Rose, 14, and Samuel, 11. Lopez shares her twins with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
This holiday season marks the second for Affleck and Lopez as a married couple, following their marriage in 2022. They were previously engaged in 2003 and 2004 and rekindled their romance in 2021.
Prior to the party, Lopez, in the Christmas spirit, showcased her Beverly Hills home’s Christmas tree on Instagram. The tree, adorned with golden baubles and pine cones, matched Lopez’s attire, consisting of a high-waisted skirt with golden embroidery, paired with a gold bracelet, embellished belt, and sparkly gold platform heels.
