On March 9, 2019, American rapper, P. Diddy paid tribute to his student, Notorious B.I.G. Back on March 9, 1997, B.I.G was shot dead in Los Angeles. P. Diddy took the help of social media to pay a tribute to his student, on his 22nd death anniversary.
On his social media account, P. Diddy placed a photograph of himself and Notorious B.I.G and wrote that there won’t be anyone like him ever again. Diddy called B.I.G as one of the most successful rappers and wrote that he would spend all day remembering the artist. P. Diddy also posted a video in which he was performing alongside B.I.G and wrote in a caption that the rapper had the sweetest smile. The video has near about 13.5 million views.
Christopher Wallace who is better known by the name of Notorious B.I.G was 24 years of age when he was shot dead. Till date, the police authorities aren’t able to solve the murder mystery. Many of B.I.G’s fans as well as family members and friends believed that the killing had to do something with Tupac Shakur’s death. Just six months before B.I.G’s death Shakur was shot dead at East Flamingo road. Notorious B.I.G was known for producing great songs along with some of the big names in the music industry including Michael Jackson.
Back in 2009, P. Diddy had also been an executive producer to the biopic of Notorious B.I.G. Through his Instagram account P.Diddy had urged young generation to listen Ready to Die, an album produced by B.I.G., he called the album as one of a kind. P. Diddy posted his tribute to B.I.G after he confessed that he still regrets not marrying his ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter. Last year Kim Porter got succumbed to lobar pneumonia. P. Diddy had posted a photograph of Kim and himself. P. Diddy and Kim Porter have three kids named Christian, Jessie James, and D’Lila Star.
