To start our list is the most notable celebrity engagements we’ve had the chance to witness this year. Starting our list is the engagement of England’s very own Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle. Their engagement was announced last November 27. Meghan Markle is an actress who appeared in TV and Film shows like the famous series, Suits.
Another celebrity couple to get engaged is Katie Cassidy, the star from the series celebrity Arrow. Cassidy is engaged to Matthew Rodgers. Joe Jonas also got engages to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
Other stars who got engaged this year as well include Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy, former Destiny’s Child member Letoya Luckett, Riverdale star Tiera Skovbye, Marcus Grood, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Eliza Dushku.
If there are engagements around, wedding bells are also ringing everywhere for sure. Topping the list is Gary Oldman’s marriage with Gisele Schmidt, an art curator. Justice League star Jason Momoa also tied the know with Lisa Bonet, an alum of The Cosby Show. They had a very intimate celebration for their wedding.
Aside from pure celebrity weddings, some stars also tied the knot with their non showbiz beaus. One of these is Clare Bowen, who got married last October 21 to her long term boyfriend Christopher Buckner. Other than that, Dancing with the Stars couple Maksim Chmerksovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd also got married in a ceremony in Long Island.
