Celebrating their 20th year anniversary Cash Money Records released a mobile app. The app allows fans to redesign album covers from the past to present with their own photos. Users also are able to stream videos & also have a look at behind the scene footage & commentary. In addition to that, app users will be granted a free introductory pack of 20 add-ons, with the opportunity to buy packs from albums such as; Juvenile’s 400 Degreez and Solja Rags album and Lil Wayne’s Tha Block Is Hot. Also including virtual recreations of Lil Wayne and Birdman’s tattoos.
For the first month of its release, the Cash Money app will host an exclusive “digital pop-up shop” that will only exist as the one place you can purchase things from the Cash Money 20th Anniversary line.
To create the immersive app, Cash Money worked alongside with the people of Neon Roots, which is one of the industry’s leading developers. Operating with Cash Money for the project, they also plan to incorporate contests and ways to access exclusive 20th-anniversary material over the next several months.

“I can remember selling our first releases out of my car, and I can’t wait to see how the album artwork comes to life in the digital space! It’s the beginning of yet another era for Cash Money.”
The app is available for purchase exclusively through Apple’s App stores started on June 29. The app will be available on all digital platforms in September.
