Microsoft releases a new Band that’s actually wearable

DarrellHQ

Microsoft launched its successor to the original Microsoft Band, and it seems better suited for the mainstream. The bulky, unfinished look was replaced with a new slick, flexible circular band, with a delicately curved touchscreen made with Gorilla Glass 3. Additional improvements include the sensors and a software update.

Included in this version of the Microsoft Band is a barometer, that can track changes in altitude. Making for a more accurately tracked exercise routine.

In addition, the Band can now calculate VO2 Max, measuring the oxygen intake of an athlete at any time.
