LONDON, United Kingdom – Samsung’s newest flagship of Galaxy phones, the Samsung Galaxy S9, is said to make its debut to the public at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2018. Samsung Galaxy smartphone fans need not to wait until March 2018 to get a glimpse of the brand’s next Galaxy line.
Samsung is set to give a sneak preview of its newest Galaxy smartphone units – the Samsung Galaxy S9 and, its bigger version, the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.
The Galaxy S9 will still have a formal launch happening in March 2018. But, to let the public know what the latest Galaxy unit has to offer, Samsung will give a sneak preview of full specifications and features of the phone during the CES in January.
This early preview is set by the tech giant to prevent leaks about their newest Galaxy smartphone line, as well as to manage the public’s expectations. The Samsung Galaxy S9 is said to be a refined version of the Samsung Galaxy S8. This fact is one thing that the tech giant has been honest about.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 will retain the previous Galaxy unit display of 5.8 inch and 6.2 inch for Galaxy S9 Plus. It features a 64 GB expandable storage memory and has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Both the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus have AKG-badged stereo speakers. Both are run by a 10-nanometer processor or Snapdragon 845 and have a fingerprint reader that is rear mounted on the devices. This is so the user does not experience the hassle to smudge the camera when signing in.
The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus promise a bigger RAM of 6 GB versus the 4 GB of the previous Galaxy units. It also has a second rear camera that is suitable for any portrait needs.
Samsung remains in commitment with its phone-as-PC DeX dock. In the 2018 dock, the smartphone will eliminate the vertical cradle for any user to use the Samsung smartphone’s touchscreen as a virtual keyboard or a trackpad.
This will significantly reduce the cost of those who are on the DeX bandwagon by trimming down the need to purchase external or extension devices such as a keyboard and/or mouse.
Samsung, at this early, is preparing for their big product launches in 2018. With innovative product lines and improved devices, the tech giant is aiming at retaining its spot in the global market scene.
Through the years, Samsung consistently belongs to the top smartphone brands recognized worldwide. The tech giant is one of the best contenders in the market that produces quality smartphones and other technology devices which answer to every user’s objectives.
Withal, the January 2018 CES is set to give a teaser and a rundown presentation of the newest Samsung Galaxy smartphones – Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus – that the tech giant will officially release on their customary spring event set in March 2018. Samsung fans can start rooting for their ideal devices for next year as early as January.
