Doja Cat is back with new music. The multitalented artist has released a fresh track titled “Freak.”
The sensual tune, which samples Paul Anka’s 1959 song “Put Your Head On My Shoulder” and Kelis’ 2003 hit “Milkshake,” hears Doja Cat sketching out loud some of her sexual fantasies with her companion.
“Tied him down to my queen bed / Tease him just enough to hate me (Hate me) / Tied it tight enough, he can’t break free (Break free) / Keep him waiting ’til he try,” she sings.
“Freak” is Doja Cat’s first song to release since dropping her “Say So (Remix)” featuring Nicki Minaj. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May. The original song appears on Doja Cat’s sophomore album, Hot Pink, which arrived in November 2019.
