Harry Shum Jr. of the once popular musical TV series, Glee is going to be a dad! He is married to a fellow dancer and Hollywood actress, Shelby Rabara, a former Los Angeles Lakers cheerleader. They were married in 2015 in Costa Rica and are currently expecting their first child together.
The celebrity couple announced the good news via their social media pages. The Screen Actor Guild awardee, now 36, posted on his Instagram page a photo of him hiding behind his wife, caressing her belly, and Rabara, now 35, with a shocked expression to match.The voice actress behind Peridot of Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe posted even more pictures to her social media accounts to announce to the world the new chapter for their now growing family.
Fans are overwhelmed and are gushing at the fact that news of a baby followed what was their recently celebrated 12th first date anniversary. They are also set to celebrate their third wedding anniversary in December.
The half Filipina actress’ baby bump is already very clearly evident in the photos which were taken by Luke Youngblood. It looks as though she could give birth in just a few more months.
In the photos she dons a long blue dress and a colorful, floral patterned maxi cardigan on top. The photo is set in what seems to be a park with trees bearing pink leaves and flowers, with a giant peacock in full color, adding even more joy to the photo, making it all come together perfectly.
The famous Crazy Rich Asians director, Jon M. Chu who is also Asian, congratulated the couple by commenting heart emoji icons on the photo. Fans did the same and congratulated the pair by flooding them with uplifting comments.
