LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Evelyn Lozada will be shooting her last shot as she confirms that she’s finally leaving the reality television show, Basketball Wives.
The original Basketball Wives cast member officially announced her exit on the hit reality series during her Entertainment News Daily Pop interview. Evelyn said to the show’s co-host, Justin Sylvester, that she wouldn’t be going back to shoot for Basketball Wives anymore. Instead, the reality star explained that the time has come for her to try out new things.
Evelyn Lozada admitted that leaving the show, which helped prop her reality TV career further, was a hard decision. She’s been in the TV series for nine seasons, but lately, doing the series has taken a heavy toll on her, Evelyn explained. The reality star further stated that the show wasn’t the most positive energy, especially with the last few seasons.
The ex-wife of Chad Ochocinco detailed that she’s more conscientious about what she says and does on television, which her kids will see now or in the future. Evelyn further stated that it’s time to leave the series, even hinting that it’s been time for her to venture out somewhere else for a long time now.
However, some fans believe that leaving the reality series will only be temporary for Evelyn Lozada. As most of them know, she took a break from the Basketball Wives to focus on her documentary series Livin’ Lozada, which started in 2015. Ultimately, she went back full-time in Basketball Wives in 2017.
One Instagram user said they’ve all heard about her leaving the show before, but she always comes back. However, other followers weren’t as forgiving and even called on canceling the show. One commenter said that Evelyn Lozada is already too old to be on the show, so are the other remaining casts. One fan also doesn’t like that the reality star fake cries and gets jealous of other women, which she pointed out in the comments.
