With everything on lockdown for the past few months, Netflix has seen higher traffic than normal to its streaming services. Getting everyone desirous for some new movies to enjoy rather it be a new movie or classic.
Besides things starting to open back up slowly, you still have lots of reasons to stay home in July while Netflix releases more movies for you.
Here are a few titles of what’s to come:
Unsolved Mysteries (July 1)
Thi classic mystery documentary series ran on network TV for years with host Robert Stack. It is making a comeback. Merely in time for the era of true crime, including the producers of Stranger Things accompanying the creators of original series. The first six episodes, out of twelve, arrive the first of the July; with a twist of no host.
Warrior Nun (July 2)
Netflix’s latest fantasy series, starring Alba Baptista, Toya Turner, and Lorena Andrea, worries an orphan who discovers that she has superpowers, which will be operated on behalf of “a secret sect of demon-hunting nuns.”
The Hater (July 6)
This current Polish film, which appears like it’s crying for an American remake, follows a man who goes to work in a Cambridge Analytics-like firm that engages in “social media smear tactics” and comprehends the real-world influences.
Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado (July 8)
The documentary originally debuted at Sundance. Being directed by Cristina Costantini and Kareem Tabsch. It tells the story of the popular Puerto Rican astrologer and TV host. Like several other streaming projects this spring, Lin-Manuel Miranda is in it.
The Old Guard (July 10)
The latest big-time filled with action thriller headed to Netflix is The Old Guard, which stars Charlize Theron and Kiki Layne of If Beale Street Could Talk, as part of an association of immortals fighting their enemies. With Love and Basketball director Gina Prince-Bythewood starring in this film as well.
Fatal Affair (July 16)
In this new psychological thriller, Nia Long stars as a lawyer who meets up with and has a drink with an old associate (Omar Epps), who turns out to be unpredictable & unstable. Peter Sullivan is responsible for this film.
Cursed (July 17)
A different new fantasy series, this one includes 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford in a retelling of the Arthurian legend. Based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler.
