Lionsgate recently unveiled the trailer for “Unsung Hero,” an upcoming biographical drama celebrating a family’s collective journey to fulfill their dreams. The trailer showcases Joel Smallbone, a member of the Christian pop band for King & Country, depicting his father, David. David moved his family from Australia to the United States in 1991, seeking new opportunities. The film is set to hit theaters on April 26, 2024.

The movie “Unsung Hero” tells the story of David Smallbone, who relocates his family from Australia to the U.S. in pursuit of a fresh start following the collapse of his prosperous music company. The plot details how David, along with his pregnant wife Helen and their seven children, only armed with their suitcases and love for music, endeavor to rebuild their lives. Helen’s unwavering faith motivates her family to stay hopeful.
